Moving Matter is teaming up with our good buddies
ToasT to put on a very special post Thanksgiving party. We anticipate some very special guests and hopefully some mix match jamming between bands.
The
Flamingo Cantina will be hosting the event on Saturday November 27th. ToasT will start the night off at 10pm. The first 50 to attend will receive a free copy of Moving Matter's 2005 studio release, InfraBlue.
We look forward to celebrating the many beautiful things we have to be grateful for, especially you, our fans. Please understand that without you, we are like a thanksgiving dinner without a turkey. So come on out you turkeys!
Dan took some classes on film editing during his college years at Colorado State University. His final project was to create a video of some sort. He decided to make a Moving Matter video of the song "Flight of Chance." He did a great job. Please enjoy.

Yes, that's right, there's a party at the Pussycat Lounge in Dallas, TX on Friday June 25th. It's a special celebration for an old D-Town local visiting from Colorado. Moving Matter is playing two sets at 10 pm with a DJ in between.
Please come out early to get this party started.
Brobie 1 Kenobie is bumping the night off with his gnarly beats and sick syncopation.
Plan on staying up late for this one. There's an after party at the
Time 2 Fly Music office. Let us know if you need directions...

San Marcos ripper,
Funkotron, asked
US to share an elegant evening of face melting at the
Ruta Maya Coffee House in South Austin on Friday April 30th, 2010. Moving Matter is the supporting act, starting around 10pm.
It's not often that Moving Matter gets the opportunity to play in their current home town. We really appreciate the continuing support of our fans and hope to see some smiling faces.

Moving Matter is glad to debut our first headlining appearance at the Triple Crown in San Marcos, TX. The show is on Thursday May 13th, 2010. Apparently this is the week after finals, but the week before graduation, so we're planning to give the college kids a great reason to celebrate.
Opening acts include San Marcos locals
Fotoelectric Effect, a funky dance & trance band, and Austin's very own poppish rock sound,
The Love It Band. The show starts at 9pm. Moving Matter is scheduled to play from 12am to 1:30am. The price is right, so come on down.
Howdy! Welcome aboard folks, if your seatbelt doesn't fit, let me tell you it's because you are too fat for this ride. I'd like to welcome you aboard the holiday JAMMER. We've got some great fresh pics below, from our most recent show @ the Parish with Fatty Lumpkin and Larry. Great times and plenty of laughs....

It's November and MM is still running strong. This almost looks like one of them warshed up rocker pics, like the Doobie Brothers posing for their 10,000th show at the Stardust in Vegas.... Good times and great lights on this last show, props to Jonesy and Company....

Well the place was crowded
We were packed in like sardines They were all there to listen to the big band sounds of Tommy Dorsal
What sole
Tommy was rockin' the place with a very popular tuna
Salmon Chanted Evening
And the stage was surrounded by screaming groupers
Probably there to see the bass player
One of them was this cute little yellowtail
And she's giving me the eye
So I figured this is my chance for a little fun
You know, piece of Pisces

The crowd was heady and stoked. Chainsaw was mackin on some fries.... Bead guy with backward cap is still rollin ballz to this day....

Is that a corpse? Well we are all getting older now, apparently all that jammin called for a nap.

Just a whole mess of passed out sleepers?!? I thought the Yankee's won?

Just a shout out, MaxFest 2010 is coming up at Ruta Maya! Keep your eyes and ears out on the lookout for a release of details. It's confirmed! Ruta Maya Feb 5th for Maxfest 2010...

We'd like to give a shout out a new baby in the family. Margaret and Jimmy gave birth to Scarlett recently, she's a hoot. And as you can see, like Dad she is tryin to paw on his chicken gizzards! She's adorable, and we know that Jimmy and Margaret will be the best parents EVER!
